VOLUNTEER at The Gubbio Project
More than 125 volunteers from the Bay Area came to The Gubbio Project during the course of last year to help provide a respite for folks experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness. Because of the increasing amount of people seeking a safe and quiet refuge, the support we get from volunteers is crucial. Most of the volunteers work in our sanctuary as Assistant Hospitality Monitors, where our guests rest and sleep. Some other volunteer opportunities are in our Sacred Sleep Accompaniment Program, hosting a breakfast for our Breakfast Program, or helping at the main office with website and tech support.
